Commercial Drivers License Medical Examiner Certification Training

Member Only Discount

MMA Members are eligible for $150 discount on this training.

Effective May 2014, all medical examiners of commercial drivers MUST complete FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) mandated training every 5 years and pass a certification examination every 10 years.

The Montana Medical Association CDL Medical Examiner Training Course meets the requirements of the FMCSA. This will be a 9-hour on-demand web-based training, and will offer CME credits. Once physicians have completed the mandated training and passed the qualifying examination, they will be eligible to be entered on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME), and continue to provide examinations to commercial drivers.

The MMA extends their appreciation to Nicole Clark, M.D., Carla Huitt, M.D., LeeAnna Muzquiz, M.D., Greg Vanichkachorn, M.D., and Gladys E. Young, M.D. for their assistance in building the content for this training program.
